ELBAUM, Gertie (nee Chaitman). In Toronto, on Saturday, January 5, 2008, in her eighty-seventh year. Beloved wife of the late Morris Elbaum. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Marsha and Mark Turner, Stanley and Lilka Elbaum. Cherished "Bube" of Barbra, Rachel; Andrea and Matt, Jonathan and Riva. Proud great-grandmother of Joey, Holly and Benjamin. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Henry and Lorraine Chaitman, the late Jack and the late Ruth Chaitman, the late Sarah and the late Bill Beldick. Sister-in-law of Morris and the late Lena Balsam. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Tuesday, January 8 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
