DANDRIDGE, Ronald Henry Retired from Bell Canada following over 45 years of service Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in hospital following a valiant battle with cancer on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at the age of 78. Beloved husband for 56 years of Norma (nee Castleman). Loving father of Les (Claire St-Laurent), Elaine (Richard Kociszewski), Donna (Peter Lefebvre), Stephen, David and Connie (Tim Welch). Dear grandfather to Danielle Dandridge, Tracey Dunsmoor, Tom Roberts (Andrea Roberts), Tasha and Taylor Kociszewski, Amy, Amanda, Adam, and Alyssa Lefebvre, Ian and Eric Welch and great grandfather to Kathleen, Nicholas and Patrick Dunsmoor and Halyn Roberts. Ron is the son of Harold Alexander Dandridge and Elizabeth Weldrick of Verdun, Quebec where he grew up with his brothers; Pat, Kenny and Charlie. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel at Pinecrest Remembrance Services (2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa). Following the interment a reception will be held at Pinecrest. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of A3, A4 and the ALC units at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. In memory of Ron, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
