McCORMICK, Hugh. At home on Saturday, January 5, 2008. Hugh Michael McCormick of Montreal; age sixty-eight years. Beloved husband of Gladys McCormick (nee McDonald). Loving father of Eric McCormick of Montreal, Gwen McCormick of Vancouver and the late Karen McCormick. Dear brother of Allan McCormick (Helen) of Alexandria, Bernard McCormick (Mary) of St. Andrew's, Ronnie McCormick (Barbara) of Ottawa, Brian McGee of Vancouver, Betty Chisholm (late John) of St. Andrew's and Bonnie Switzer of Ottawa. Predeceased by two brothers John James and Donald Angus McCormick and by one sister Inez Kennedy (John Angus of Alexandria). Dear son of the late Donald Joseph McCormick and the late Isobel MacLean. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan's Cathedral Alexandria on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 11 a.m. Spring Interment. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
