NEARING, Uhleen It is with heartfelt sadness that her loving family announce the death of Uhleen MacPherson on Tuesday, January 8, 2007 at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre in her 75th year. She is survived by Mello Nearing and her loving children Anita (Andrew Pickard), Kevin (Andrea Boassaly), Danette (Louis Guibord), Paula, Carmie (Todd Blevins), Shauna (Morten Loj), Mark, Ian (Nicole Pearson), Meline (Brad Hunter), Lauren (Jason Scott) and the late Trevor Charles. Cherished grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Dear sister of Carmelina MacPherson-Bourner (Richard), Pauline Mesher (Bob), Kevin (Shirley), Lawrence (Barb), Fulton (Ruthie), Charles and sisters-in-law Bernadette and Linda. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Dan and Julia MacPherson and brothers Ian, Walter, Donald and Daniel. An inspiring teacher in New Waterford. A community leader who dedicated a great deal of her life to building the parish of St. Michael's, River Ryan. A great friend and mentor to many. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset St. W. (centretown) Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday to Saint Patrick's Basilica for Mass of Christian Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Interment Hope Cemetery.
