Harold C. NYMARK

NYMARK, Harold C. Peacefully at the Colonel By Residence on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Eva Nymark, his lifelong partner for over 65 years. Loving father of Diane Nymark (Norman), Wayne Nymark and Alan Nymark (Christine). Cherished grandfather of Sara Loui-Ying (Charles), Alison Davis (Jill), Christian Davis (Barb), Wellsley Hamilton, Whitney Hamilton and Jessica Nymark. Great-grandfather of James and Ryan Loui-Ying. Dear brother of Ed Nymark (Gert), Ernie Nymark, Evelyn McIlquham and brother-in-law of Lois Irwin. He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and family members. Born in Ottawa, he had a very successful career with Welch & Johnston Ltd. He contributed to the community in many ways, including as President of the Rotary Club and was a lifetime member of First United Church. And he enjoyed much of his leisure time with family and friends at the cottage at Bristol, Quebec. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Friday, January 11 from 10:30 a.m. until Service time in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated.
