HOWLETT, Arliss Our beloved mother, after a courageous, hard-fought battle, passed away in our arms at the Hospice at Maycourt, Thursday, January 10, 2008, at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Russell Robert Howlett, retired RCN. She will always be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her two sons, Russell (Cheryl) and Frank (Catherine). She was a grandmother of David, Sarah and Elizabeth. Mom was a long time customer service representative for Sears who always enjoyed helping other people with their problems. The family wish to thank the staff at the Hospice at Maycourt for their loving care and compassion. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa), on Sunday, January 13th from 6-8pm. A service in celebration of Arliss' life will be held in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 14th. Following the service, interment will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery and a reception for family and friends will be held in the Pinecrest Reception Centre.
