KALBFLEISCH, Moody Edward With his family at his side, Moody passed away peacefully in his 100th year at the Peter D. Clark Long Term Care Centre on January 8, 2008. Predeceased by his devoted wife of 60 years, Ruth (Boese), sisters Florence (Koch) and Pearl (Sitler) and a brother Otto, he leaves his loving sister Ruth (MacIntosh); his children Karol Kovacs (Allan) and Bruce (Frida); grandchildren Jessica Hyba-Blazy (Arnaud Blazy), Gregory, Adam (Tatijana), and Dale; and one great-grandchild, Ayla Blazy. Moody's ashes will be interred beside his wife Ruth's in the Arnprior Cemetery at a later date. He will be remembered as a modest, gentle man with a dry and wonderful sense of humour which carried him through a long and full life. Moderation was his motto and in addition to his family, Moody really enjoyed astronomy, nature and photography. He will be sadly missed. Our most heartfelt thanks go to the staff at the Peter D. Clark Centre. They were dedicated and caring from the beginning to the very end. If you wish, donations can be made in Moody's memory to the Peter D. Clark Long Term Care Centre (613-274-2671).
