Doris BLITZ

BORER, Doris (nee Blitz). Passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2008 in her Florida home. Beloved wife of the late Morrie, daughter of the late Fannie and Isadore Blitz. Loved and loving mother of Barry (Suzanne), Howard (Esther) and Ian. Cherished Bubbie of Eilene, Steven, Matt, Zack, Adam, Rachel, Noah and Hannah. Sister of the late Marion Wohl and Morty Blitz and aunt of Stuart Wohl, Susyn (Don) and Leonard (Linda) Borer. Doris was a great role model. She was president of her synagogue's sisterhood and worked at the Golden Age Center for many years, being one of the initiators of taking groups of seniors to Florida during winters. The fact that her family took turns flying to her side ensuring that she was not alone the last few months is a testament to the person and mother she was. Doris is sadly missed by us all.
