HANLEY, Rita Patricia. Passed away peacefully with wonderful care at Centre d'hebergement et de soins de longue duree Dollard-des-Ormeaux on Monday, January 7, 2008, in her ninety-first year. She was a long time resident at St. Patrick's Square. Rita was the daughter of the late Ellen Rossiter Hanley Cox and the late William Hanley. She was predeceased by her brothers William, Lorne and her sister Margaret (John James McCarthy), as well as her nephews Kevin Hanley and John Patrick McCarthy and also by her good friend Mary Brooks. She leaves her sister-in-law Ann McGinley, many nephews and nieces: Gerald McCarthy (Patricia) of St. Catharines, Sharon (Wayne Allo), Brian (Marilyn), Bill (Madelon), James (Amy), Michael (Barbara), Maureen Hanley, and many grandnieces and nephews. Rita was a life long employee of the T. Eaton Co. At Rita's request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held at a later date followed by interment at Notre Dame des Neiges.
