ARMSTRONG, Allan Peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Campus, on Saturday, January 12, 2008. Allan Armstrong of RR1 Iroquois in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Ethel Armstrong (nee Merkley). Loving father of Barry (Christina) of Ottawa, Brian (Kim) of RR1 Iroquois and Arlene Armstrong of Iroquois. Sadly missed by 2 grandchildren Brianna and Serena Armstrong. Dear brother of Clare (Nancy) of Mar, Ontario and Dorothy Guillimette of Cornwall and brother-in-law of Doris Armstrong of Brockville and Donald (Christine) Merkley of Ottawa. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home Iroquois, on Tuesday from 1-3 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church Iroquois on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 11 a.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. John's Anglican Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
