COX, Katherine Edna (nee Mundy) Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on July 15, 1925 and passed away on January 11, 2008, in Ottawa, where she lived for the past 22 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Francis Michael (Dec 8, 1988); her parents, Edith Katherine Toepher and George Thomas Mundy, and siblings George Ashford, Arthur Henry and Molly Merle Glenn. Survived by her nieces and nephews Patricia Ozses (Mike) of Ottawa, Holly Curtis (John) of Petersburg, Chris Norman (Jan) of Victoria, David Mundy (Ruth) of Bowmanville, Eric Mundy of Kingston, Paul, Susan, Wesley and Pauline, great nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Marc, Jacob, Emma, Nicole, Tyler, Thomas, Isaac, Jocelyn, Emily, Pearce and Alexandra. A long time piano teacher and organist, Katherine will be fondly remembered for the music she brought into everyone's hearts. Katherine's warmth, wit and zest for life will be sadly missed and cherished by her family and many friends. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home 2313 Carling Avenue (west of Carlingwood) Tuesday after 9:00 a.m. Funeral Tuesday in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. In memoriam, donations to the Salvation Army appreciated.
