CASEY, Andrew WWII Veteran After a brief illness at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday, January 11, 2008. Predeceased by his wife Eileen (nee Fogarty), and his son Wayne and daughter Mary Lou. Survived by his sons Barry and wife Andree of Bath, Andy and wife Barbara of Ottawa and Pat and wife Marie of Calgary, and his brother Eric and sister Doris "Peggy" of Arnprior. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Dave and wife Darlene of Kingston and Shannon and husband Chris of Kemptville, and Natalie and Vicky Casey of Calgary. Beloved great grandfather to Liam and Rowan Casey of Kingston and Schuyler and Madeleine French of Kemptville. Andy started working as a forestry engineer with CIP in Maniwaki, Quebec after graduating from the University of New Brunswick in 1949 under the Veterans Plan. He and his wife Eileen moved to Kingston after his retirement as a forestry engineer. Family and friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd.) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Paul the Apostle Church (1111 Taylor Kidd Blvd.) on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 1 p.m. Rite of Committal St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
