Klaas (Nick) Klynstra June 24, 1920 - January 14, 2001 Funeral arrangements by P.X. Dermody Funeral Homes Ltd. (Upper Gage) Peacefully at Shalom Manor, Grimsby, Ontario on Sunday, January 14, 2001. The Lord took unto Himself Nick Klynstra, formerly of Hamilton, age 80 years. Beloved husband of the late Johanna (nee van der Werf) Klynstra. Dear dad of Hilda and Henry de Roos of Fenwick, Alice and Richard Haveman of St. Ann’s, Abe Klynstra of Hamilton and Limmy “Linda” and Henry Hulleman of Burlington. Loved grandpa of sixteen grandchildren, their families and seven great-grandchildren. Father-in-law of Lydia Klynstra and the late Larry Woudstra (January 1989). Brother of Jan and Aukje Klijnstra and several sisters-in-law in the Netherlands and one sister-in-law in Saskatchewan. Predeceased by his brothers and sister Hotse, Limke, Jannes Hendrik and Pieter. Dad lived his days One-Day-at-a-Time. Visitation at P.X Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (between Fennell and Mohawk on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Mount Hamilton Christian Reformed Church, 1411 Upper Wellington St., Hamilton on Wednesday, January 17th, 2001 at 11 a.m. The Reverend Andrew Zantingh officiating. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to Shalom Manor, Grimsby or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
