FEE, Lorraine 2008-01-07 Lorraine Eleanor, beloved wife of the late Freeman Fee, passed away peacefully at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the age of 70 with her children by her side. After the loss of her husband, Freeman, in 1994 and her retirement from Tupperware, Lorraine maintained the homestead farm in Bailieboro and created beautiful and unique crafts. In 2004 she moved back to Thunder Bay to be closer to her only grandchildren – Mara and Quinn Boyle. Beloved mother to Blair (Deb Ingberg) and Heather Boyle (Patrick/“Paddy”) both of Thunder Bay and Brent of Calgary. Also surviving – sister, Lois Minnie (Gerald), sisters-in-law, Evelyn Bradley (Larry), Helen Erickson, Gail Van Dam, brothers-in-law, Mansel Burley (Audrey), Jack Fee (Betty), numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews as well as special companion, “Poncho” and many of her extensive Tupperware family. In addition to her husband, Lorraine is also predeceased by an infant daughter Leanne, her mother Margaret Paddock (“Granny”), father Arnold Paddock (“Paddy”), mother-in-law, Irene Fee, father-in-law Ivison Fee, nephew-in-law, James Baldry, brothers-in-law, Leslie Fee and Gene Erickson, and some very dear Tupperware friends. Everyone who became acquainted with Lorraine knew her to be a “giver” – always putting others before herself and taking pride in everything she did. Prior to her stroke in 2006 Lorraine never missed a dance performance of Mara‘s and with her binoculars and ball counter in hand watched and cheered Quinn from the far end of 1st base of the Port Arthur Continentals Little League major field. Lorraine was a Tupperware Home Parties distributor for 17 years in Oshawa, Moncton and Thunder Bay and prior to that a very successful Tupperware manager and dealer in and around the Bailieboro area. Her first job was as a florist at Johnson‘s Flowers in Peterborough. Funeral services honouring the late Lorraine Eleanor Fee will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 N. Cumberland Street, Thunder Bay officiated by Rev. Michael Dunnill followed by a memorial service on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel United Church, Hwy 28, Bailieboro under the direction of Reverend Ann Austin-Cardwell. Interment of ashes will take place in Rosemount Memorial Gardens in Peterborough immediately following service at Emmanuel United Church. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to each service.
