Leslie Seely Robert Leslie Seely, 93, of LeBlanc's Special Care Home, Salisbury and formerly Petitcodiac passed away Friday January 11, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Havelock, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Gourley) Seely. Leslie was a member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon and was a former Village Councilor in Petitcodiac. In his early years he worked on farms and for lumber companies and retired from Canada Cement Lafarge in Havelock. Survived by his daughter, Rosena Crouse (Douglas) of Quispamsis; his sons, Royden (Myrna) of Wheaton Settlement, Grant (Sherry), Parker (Phyllis), Malcolm (Sharon) all of Petitcodiac, Richmond (Cherry) of Upper Coverdale; a sister, Lillian Keith of Fredericton; sixteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Frances nee Keith; brothers, Charles and William; sisters, Clara Keith, Lurena Brown, Hazel Keith, Florence Keith, Alice Clark and Lena Keith; a granddaughter, Natasha Seely. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Petitcodiac Baptist Church on Tuesday January 15 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gordon Cook officiating. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
