Leah Alberta McFaul Peacefully at Peel Manor in Brampton, on Friday January 11, 2008 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband Joseph. Loving mother of Albert, Anne Hazen (Bob), David, and Mary. Dearly missed by her grandchildren, Toby, Leanne, Ryan, Douglas Hazen, Elaine Muir, Stacey Hazen, Sarah Hazen, Matthew Hazen, April Westfall, Jim Woodhouse, Brenda, and Valerie; great-grandchildren, Mary, Devin, Dylan, Hailee, Jordan, Ashlynn, Kelly, Steven, Amy. Leah was raised in Salisbury, New Brunswick and is predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Ina Thorne; brother Guy, and sisters Miriam, Ethel and June. Friends were received at the Scott Funeral Home, 289 Main Street North (Hwy 10), Brampton, Ontario (905) 451-1100 on Monday from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday January 15, 2008 at 11 am from St. Mary's Catholic Church, 66A Main Street South, Brampton, Ontario. Interment followed at Assumption Cemetery, Mississauga, Ontario. In memory of Leah donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
