Jo Edna Crystal Laura TRAER

Jo-Edna Crystal Laura Walsh 1948 - 2008 Miramichi, N.B. - Jo-Edna Walsh, wife of Louis Walsh, of Miramichi, passed away at the age of 59 on Wednesday, January 16th, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Chatham, NB on May 7th, 1948 she was the daughter of Florence (Appleby) Traer and the late Howard Traer. She is survived by her husband, Louis; two sons, David (Maggie) and Chris (Tina); her mother, Florence Traer; three grandchildren, Logan, Madelyn, and Catherine; and three brothers, Ronnie (Bertie) of Halifax, Keith (Willa) of Fredericton, and Daryl (Joanne) of Miramichi. Visitation will be at Maher's Funeral Home Ltd., 35 University Avenue, on Thursday, January 17th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Friday, January 18th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Michael's Basilica, on Saturday, January 19th, 2008, at 11:00 am, conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Mount St. Joseph Alzheimer's Unit, the Miramichi Chapter of the Alzheimer's Society, or to a memorial of one's choice.
