Frances Janet CHAPELLE

GORDON, FRANCES JANET The death of Frances Janet (Chapelle) Gordon of Upper Gagetown, NB, occurred at the Orchard View Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 16th, 2008. Born in French Lake, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert Chapelle and Rose (Grasse) Chapelle. Janet was a longtime and active member of the Upper Gagetown Baptist Church and a lifelong member of the Women's Institute. Janet is survived by her three children, Carter and his wife Joyce of Florida, Richard and his wife Evelyn of Upper Gagetown, NB, and Rosalie Randall and her husband Donald of Upper Gagetown, NB; one brother, Andrew Chapelle of Geary, NB, and one sister, Helen Jarvis and her husband David. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Theodore Gordon; one son, Fenton Joel Gordon; and brothers, Harold, Luke, Byron and Billy. The family will receive visitors at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago Street, Oromocto, NB (357-5100) on Friday, January 18th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place at the Upper Gagetown Baptist Church on Saturday, January 19th, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jim McLellan officiating. Interment will take place in the Upper Gagetown Community Cemetery. A reception will take place in the Upper Gagetown Lions Club immediately following the interment.
