Doreen Ross ( MacDonald) August 24, 1938 - April 28, 2004 ROSS, Doreen - 65, Dartmouth, passed away April 28, 2004, at home. Born in Pleasant River, she was a daughter of the late Dorothy (Johns) MacDonald. Doreen trained and nursed at the IWK, and worked there until she married and then went to work with her husband, Dr. Edward Ross at the King Medical Clinic. She was an avid tole painter, a loving mother to her son, Christopher and a loving wife to her husband, Edward. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Edward Ross, Dartmouth; son, Christopher (Caroline) Ross; nephews, David (Yvonne), Danny (Sandra), Derek. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Greig. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday, April 30, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Funeral service 4 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel, Mrs. Dianne Hill officiating. Burial to follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow. Family flowers only. Donations to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
