Mr. Leslie Douglas McDonald September 13, 1927 - April 25, 2004 McDonald, Leslie D. Suddenly on April 25, 2004 at the Cowichan District Hospital, Duncan, BC. Born in New Westminster on September 13, 1927. Age 76 years. Predeceased by his parents William and Jessie, brothers Bill and Pete, sisters Winnie, Jean and Jess and grandson Jimmy Bonter. He is survived by his wife Mary of 59 years, daughter Sandie, son Douglas, grandchildren Kerri and Russell Bonter, two great grandchildren James and Jennifer, and his two brothers, Bud and Ross McDonald. Les always loved giving people a helping hand. He loved to bowl at the Duncan Lanes and made many friends there. He also enjoyed a good game of golf. A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Ronald (Bud) McDonald , 10133 South Shore Road, Honeymoon Bay, on Sunday, May 16, 2004 at 1:00 pm.
