Mr. Osborne "Ossie" Edwin Hollings April 10, 1916 - April 22, 2004 HOLLINGS, Edwin Osborne (Ossie), one of the last pioneers of the valley, left us April 22, 2004. Pre-deceased by his eight brothers and many other valley pioneers of the same caliber. Born on the Hollings homestead April 10, 1916, as were all his brothers, and lived the majority of his life in the Cowichan Valley. Dearly missed by Ray (Kim), Janice (Kelly), Linda, Arlene, and grandchildren along with Bill (Shiela). Fondly remembered by his nieces, cousins, the Wade family, and so many more that he personally touched -countless others who were recipients of his kindness, generosity, wit, and wrath. Much appreciation to all those who helped care for Ossie in his later years including Cowichan Home Support and the many doctors and nurses.
