PAULSON, Allan Gerald - In loving memory of Mr. Allan Gerald Paulson who passed away peacefully at the Northview Nursing Home, Englehart, on Monday, January 14, 2008 at the age of 75. Allan had a cheerful personality and got along well with all his fellow workers. He was elected President of the first students council at Queen Elizabeth Public School in Kirkland Lake, where he grew up. He played a wide variety of musical instruments in the High School Band - violin, clarinet, trombone & harmonica. He once boasted that he could play the minute waltz in 59 seconds flat. He traveled the length and breadth of Canada as a diamond driller and latter as a construction pipe fitter. Predeceased by one son Daniel. He is survived by his ex wife June Larson and daughter Eleanore, both of Kingston, On. Sons Mark & John, both of Nelson, B.C. Brothers Harold of Marathon and Bob of Toronto. In keeping with the families wishes, cremation has taken place. Final burial will take place at the Kirkland Cemetery. Family and friends will gather for a memorial weekend at Kenogami Lake about August 3, 2008. Final details will be announced.
