OLAFSON, August “Gus“ - 1968-2008 - The family announces with great sorrow his unexpected death at his home on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at the age of 39 years. Missed by his partner Madeline Koostachin. Loving father of Ken Olafson (Rachelle Ratte) and their newborn son Jayden, Tyler Davis both of Timmins and Jessica (husband Trevor) Stock (nee Davis) of Wellend. Left to mourn are his parents Kenny & Lorraine Olafson of Marathon. Survived by his brothers; Charlie, Pete (Jennifer) and Mike. He leaves a niece Abigail as well as many friends; Maureen Davis, Roger & Cheryl Viau and family. Funeral prayers will be held on Monday, January 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Parlor of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Remembrance donation to the Baby Jayden Olafson Trust Fund would be appreciated.
