WHITFIELD, Doreen (nee Shea) - (Longtime employee of Croven Ltd.) - Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 16th, 2008 at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto. Loving wife of the late Clark Whitfield. Dear mother of Kevin and his wife Susan. Cherished Nana of Atticus; Beloved sister of Edward Shea (June), Harold Shea (Gladys), Marie Sarginson, Winnifred Fallis (Louie), Sharon Shea and predeceased by Gladys Shea, Emery Shea (Helen), Evaline Henry (Alf), Hazel Lamb (Doug) and Jim Shea (Elizabeth). Doreen will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, co-workers and friends. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Michael's Hospital – Cardiology Surgery Unit for their care and compassion. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa (905-721- 1234) for visitation on Friday, January 25th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, January 26th at 11 a.m. Interment to take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 28th, at Fenelon Falls Cemetery.
