Douglas James Nicholson December 25, 1928 - May 01, 2004 Passed away with his family at his side on Saturday, May 1, 2004 at Midland in his 76th year. Predeceased by his wife Evelyn Sexsmith, his parents Robert and Susan Nicholson, and his children Audrey, Michael and Jane. Survived by his children; Rosemary (Gordon) Clysdale, Catherine (Gary) Lewis, Bernard (Wendy), Gregory, James (Theresa), Perry (Karen), Kelly, Tracy (George) Christoforou, and Heather (David) Bressette. Lovingly remembered by his son-in-law Mike McKenna and daughter-in-law Susan. Dear grandfather of Katherine, Janet and Gary Lewis, Jennifer, Laurie and Robin Clysdale, Caely and Andrew Nicholson, Douglas and Trevor Nicholson, Nicholas, Alexander and Christopher Christoforou, and Brandon and Brett Bressette. Great grandfather of Conal and Kieran Trudeau. Dear brother of Dorothy, Claude, Ronnie, Nevin, William, Barbara, Margo, Robert and the late Horace, David and Celina. Friends wil be received at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Avenue, Midland on Monday, May 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Honey Harbour on Tuesday, May 4th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Wye Marsh or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
