D'ENTREMONT- MARGARET M. - (68) of Seal Cove Grand Manan Island, passed away Monday, January 21, 2008, at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews. Born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Eugenie d'Entremont. Margaret worked in her early years at the Algonquin Hotel, and later at Laura Secord in Toronto; when she moved to Grand Manan in the early 1970's, she settled in to Island life participating in as many social events as she could and had gained many friends through the years. She is survived by two sons; Rickey Harvey of Grand Harbour, N.B, Robert d'Entremont of Meteghan, N.S. Also her sister, Anna (Edward) Taylor of Saulnierville, N.S. She was predeceased in October by her friend and companion of many years Burton Daggett. Visiting hours will take place at the Seal Cove Baptist Church on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the Church on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 1:30 pm, with Rev Ron Ford officiating, and Rev. Peter Smith assisting.
