HICKEY, PATRICK W. A. - The death of Patrick W. A. Hickey of Station Rd., Nauwigewauk, husband of Theresa M. (Shielder) Hickey, occurred unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, January 23, 2008. Mr. Hickey was born in Nash Creek, N.B., a son of the late John and Elexia (Corrier) Hickey, and had resided the greater part of his life in the Saint John area. He had been employed at the Saint John Dry Dock and at Atlantic Sugar Refineries. Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Steve at home, Wayne (Kathy) of Texas, John at home, and Rickey (Tina) of Saint John; one daughter, Joyce Ewart of Saint John; two brothers, Ralph (Lillian) and Joe, both of Jacquet River, N.B.; a sister-in-law, Ann Hickey of Hammond River; four grandchildren, Alexa and McKael Hickey, and Dionne and Kevin Ewart; three great-grandchildren, Haley, Danny, and Tanisha Butler; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday morning at 12:05 PM.
