Madeline Kay DORCHESTER - The death of Madeline Kay, 76, of Dorchester, occurred suddenly on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008. Born in Steeves Mountain, Madeline was the daughter of the late Alvin and Grace Lewis of Middle Sackville. Madeline loved her family and also enjoyed spending time in her garden while feeding the birds and being with her cats. She will be sadly missed by her son, Ronald (Betty) of River Hebert; two daughters, Mary Anne of Dorchester and Kathy (Ralph) Goodwin of Baie Verte; five sisters, Effie Steeves of Elgin, Edith Sears of Pointe de Bute, Jean Estabrooks of Amherst, Linda Blackett of Dorchester, Peggy (Pete) Simon of Bouctouche; seven grandchildren, Rhonda, Chris, Melissa, Jonathan, Jessica, Amy & Shirley; one step-granddaughter, Lacy, and several great-grandchildren. Visitation for Madeline will be on Friday, January 25th, 2008, 7 to 9 pm from the Jones Funeral Home, Sackville. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 26th, 2008, from the funeral home at 11 am, Rev. Vernon Vickruck officiating. Burial in the Point de Bute Cemetery in the Spring.
