THURSTON, Jean - Peacefully at Bluewater Health Palliative Care, Jean Thurston on January 23, 2008 of Sarnia, age 90. Loved wife of the late Malcolm Thurston (1973). Beloved mother of Betty Thurston of Chatham, Martha and her husband Ralph Everingham of Sarnia, and the late David Thurston (1959). Dear sister of Illa and her husband Bill Bullock of Sarnia. Predeceased by her sister Reta and her husband Joe Burton. Jean lived on the farm on Blackwell Road from the age of 17 and was well known in the Blackwell area. Jean and her husband were recognized for their successful farm and gravel business. Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 28, 2008, at 11:00 AM at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 27, 2008, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the charity of choice.
