RODGER, Sarah, Boyes “Sadie” (nee Thomson) - Peacefully at Palliative Care, surrounded by her family who she loved so dearly, on Thursday January 24, 2008 in her 76th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband George “Scotty” Rodger. Loving Mum of Ian, Lorna, Maggie Benson (Patrick), Brian (Linda) and Robert. Dear sister of Elizabeth “Betty” Black of Peterborough, Jim and Sheila Thomson of England, Rachel and Jack White of Kilmarnock Scotland and the late William (Marion) Thomson and Harry Hunter. Cherished Gran of Melissa Rodger, Kyle and Lee Rodger, George and Rory Benson and Tabitha Rodger. Sadie will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and family who always shared in special occasions and family gatherings with her. Mrs. Rodger is resting at the BENSON FUNERAL HOME, 24 King Street East in Millbrook (705) 932-5300 on Sunday January 27th from 2:00pm till 5:00pm. A funeral service to celebrate the life of our Mum, Gran, Sister, Aunt and “Friend”, will be held in St. John's Anglican Church, 99 Brock Street in Peterborough on Monday January 28th 2008 at 1:00 pm, Archdeacon Gordon Finney officiating. A reception will follow the service in the Guild Hall. Words cannot express our thanks for the special care given by Dr. Ragaz and the nurses at PRHC-Rogers Site Palliative Care. Your kindness, care and compassion will never be forgotten.
