Freud, Michael - It is with great sadness that we announce that Michael passed away Thursday, January 31st in the ICU Unit of TGH surrounded by his family. He fought a long and hard battle against Cystic Fibrosis and was blessed to receive a double lung transplant in November 2006 which gave him more precious time with his family. Michael leaves his loving wife of 32 years Linda and adoring children Adam and Ellie. He also leaves a wonderful sister Joan Sokoloff, brother and sister-in-law Al & Pam Wilkinson, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Services will be held Sunday, February 3rd at Steeles Memorial, 350 Steeles Ave. W, Thornhill at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, www.cysticfibrosis.ca.
