BERZINS, Janis In loving memory of Janis Berzins, 92 years, who passed away Tuesday morning, April 27, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital-Laurentian Site. Beloved husband of Zenta (Lintins) Berzins predeceased 1999. Loving father of Normands (wife Diane) of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Leisha and Trevor. Born in Latvia, he married Zenta in Sudbury, in 1952. Janis worked as a miner at INCO for 23 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of St John's Latvian Lutheran Church and the Latvian Relief Organization. Funeral service in the RJ Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Thursday, April 29, 2004 at 4:30 pm. Interment in the Civic Cemetery. Donations to Latvian Relief Organization or Heart and Stroke Fund would be appreciated. (Friends may call 7-9 pm Wednesday or after 3 pm Thursday).
