DONISON, Murray Wesley passed away on July 17, 2007 after complications from abdominal aneurysm surgery. He was born on September 15, 1931 in Regina to Wesley and Lena Donison. He spent his early years on the farm north of Regina until moving to Regina in the early 40's. He was a kind, compassionate man who was always concerned about the little guy. He did paintings in watercolour, oils and acrylics. Murray's artistic talent did not end there as he did some excellent woodcarvings, carpentry work and also a little inventing. He was a self-taught electronics genius and owned and operated Aladdin Electronics for a number of years. He was predeceased by his father Wesley on March 29, 1984 and his mother Lena on November 14, 1999; also by most of his aunts and uncles. Murray is survived by his wife Doreen; sister Mary (Ken) Hicks; two nephews Wesley (Patricia) Hicks and their children Brandon and Laura in Prince Albert and Bryan (Lillian) Hicks and their children Alyssa and Michayla of Regina; also survived by Doreen's children Wayne (Judy) Becker and their children Bradley, Katie and David of Kamloops; Cheryl (Martin) Erlandson and their children Marta and Marcus of Saskatoon; Brad (Liz) Becker and their children Bailey and Spencer of Vancouver; and Linda Tomlinson and her children Chris and Ben of Gravelbourg; brother-in-law Norman (Sharon) Wilde and sister-in-law Loreen (Norman) Sievert of Earl Grey; as well as two aunts Katherine Donison of Regina and Grace Alessio of Cold Lake, AB. At Murray's request, no funeral service will be held. A VISITATION for family and friends will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Thursday, July 19, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Cremation will take place at a later date. Donations in Murray's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 2nd Avenue, Regina, SK S4R 1A6 or to a charity of one's choice.
