LAMB, Robert W. (Bob) - 1929-2007 In the morning of August 28, 07, Bob passed into the hands of his Creator. Bob goes to join his daughter Cynthia; mother and father George and Vera Lamb; brother Clifford. Celebrating Bob's life is wife Becky; daughters Pamela (Regina), Bobbi (Luther Appel) (Green Bay), five grandchildren (Bryant); Christian and family (Regina), Nathan and family (Lethbridge), Noah (Minn.), Jonah (Las Vegas), Tara (Green Bay); two great grandchildren Sebastian, baby Anna. He also leaves to celebrate his life, his sisters Marie Mogenson (Burnaby), Flo (Peter) Makowichuck (Calgary); brother George (Joanne) Lamb, Belle Lamb and many nieces, nephews, and his favorite cat Tia. In his youth, Bob enjoyed travelling across Canada, often relating his favorite tales to his grandchildren. As a business man, he achieved success in the automotive service industry. Following a move to Alberta in the 50's, Bob and his family returned in 1967 to Regina to operate Shortstop (5th Ave) until 1982, and then went on to other ventures. Retiring in 1990, he enjoyed life to the fullest until 2007 when sickness took him from us. He will be sadly missed. The family would like to express deep gratitude to all the people involved in Palliative Care for all the care given to Bob in his final days. Also remembered will be the kindness and compassion by his family and friends. A celebration of Bob's life will be held on September 1, 2007, 11:00am at Lee Funeral Home, reception to follow.
