JANZ, Clara Louise, Sadly, we announce the sudden passing of Clara on Saturday, August 25th, 2007 from a stroke with her family by her side. She was 86 years old and was predeceased by her parents William and Amelia Schwartz, her husband of 62 years Edward, her sisters Martha (John) Deckshiemer and Verona Ermel, brothers: Albert (Augusta), Harry (Mary) August, Bill, Arthur (Rosie) and Leo Schwartz. She will be sadly missed by her son Delmer (Eileen) and family Sherri (Greg), Craig and Patricia, her daughter Viola, her family Leah (Doug) Fast and their family: Drew, Kyla, Kassidy and Miah Fast and Viola's son Lenny (Stacey) Janz and their son Hudson and also her remaining brother Louie (Eleanor), sisters-in-law: Lena, Lizzie and Emma Schwartz and brother-in-law Henry Ermel. Clara was born on December 6th, 1920 on the farm north of Cupar. Clara loved cooking, baking, canning and gardening. She also loved to crochet and knit. Clara and Ed spent many hours playing, singing and listening to music. Clara sadly missed her husband, Ed, who passed away on June 3rd, 2007. The family wishes to express appreciation to niece, Velma Hudson and friends Leone Owchar, and Marlene Kelln, the nurses at the General Hospital, and to Pastor Dennis Fingas and Pastor Carla R. Blakley for their many visits and prayers. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Ave., Interment will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens.
