CAISSIE, Ernest - At the Milton District Hospital on Sunday, February 3rd 2008. Ernest Caissie formerly of Peterborough, beloved husband of June. Loving father of Theresa (Andre) McKinnon, Jo-Anne (Don) Rehill and Gerry Caissie. Dear brother of Bermond (Lea), Noreen and Ida. Ernest will be missed by his grandchildren Holly, Heather, Kalyn, Jesse, Carly and Tyler and great grandchildren Madison and Taylor. Ernest was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was the First Grand Knight Council 10665 in Innismore and 4th degree with council 798 in Peterborough. Special thanks to Dr. Wong, Gayle Jansen, Nancy and a heartfelt thanks to the great nursing staff of the continuous care unit and all who touched our father's heart at the Milton District Hospital. Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKERSIE-KOCHER FUNERAL HOME 114 Main St. Milton 905-878-4452 from 7-9 pm on Tuesday and from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Wednesday. Vigil Prayers will be prayed at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 8:30 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 139 Martin St. Milton on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Milton Evergreen Cemetery.
