Ruth May Blades (née Garbett) - March 03, 1919 - May 10, 2004 - Passed away at the Huronia District Hospital, Midland, on Monday, May 10, 2004 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Floyd Blades of Victoria Harbour. Dear mother of Robert Jamieson and his wife Sharon-Rose of Aurora, and Marlene Jackson and her husband Doug of Victoria Harbour. Loved dearly by her 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Resting at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Avenue, Midland on Tuesday, May 11th from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, May 12th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Huronia Hospitals Foundation, Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
