GARSIDE, Gwendoleen (nee Jarvis) - Passed away on January 29, 2008 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus at the age of 89 years. Gwendoleen will finally be going home to Peterborough. Beloved wife of the late Charles Albert Garside (Dec 14/98). Loving mother of the late Carole S. Newall (April 2004) and survived by daughter Beverley A. Svarc and husband Lubomir. Predeceased by sisters, Helen Kells, Geraldine Harran, Hilda Doughty & Betty Stewart and predeceased by brothers Kenneth, Peter, Garnet, Archie, Jack, Keith and Ford Jarvis. Gwendoleen retired after 25 years from Bell Canada and was an active member of Murray St. Baptist Church for 54 years. She will be sadly missed by her pet “Branson.“ Visitation at the MURRAY STREET BAPTIST CHURCH, (175 Murray Street, Peterborough, ON), on Friday, February 1, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, February 2, 2008 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment at Little Lake Cemetery.
