VROOM, Donald - Peacefully at Afton Park Place, on Wednesday, January 30, 2008, Donald Vroom in his 83rd year, of Sarnia. Beloved husband of Gladys (Klazinga) Vroom for 55 years. Loving father of Claire, Ellen Dekker, Robert, Jim (Sue), and Deborah (Jim) McGill. Dear Pake to 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Dear brother of Hank, Bill, John, George, Andy, Anne Esser, Pete, Jim, and Gail Wiersema. Fondly remembered by the Klazinga family. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sons John and Ronald, brothers Bernard and Joe, and sister Hilda VanWyk. The funeral service will be held at First Christian Reformed Church (corner of Exmouth and Murphy Road), on Monday, February 4, 2008, at 11:00 AM. Cremation will follow. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
