ROTHWELL, Marie Elizabeth - Peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, February 8th, 2008 at the Kingston General Hospital at the age of 81. Daughter of the late George and Alice Goodfriend. Predeceased by her husband Thomas. Loving mother of Margaret Feeney (Robert, both predeceased), Joe (Joan), Annie Karremans (Bill), Frances (Lowell Cox), Michael (with whom she resided with), Kathy Hart (Mike), and John (Trish). Cherished grandmother of Jamie, Sherry, Robert, Kristy, Jeffrey, Phillip, Sarah, Ian, Allison, Thomas, Lars, Ricky, Cerridwen, James, and Silas. Great-grandmother of Liam and Emma. Sister of Georgina Goodfriend, Anne Hutcheson, Frank Goodfriend, and the late John Goodfriend, Betty Byrne, Connie Lappin, Phyllis Goodfriend. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the “CENTRAL CHAPEL“ of the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOMES, 49 Colborne St. (at Clergy) on Tuesday, February 12th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m., Parish Prayers at 1:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Philomena's Church, Howe Island on Wednesday, February 13th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Philomena's Cemetery.
