CALLAHAN, Thomas Patrick - It is with great sadness that Tom's family announces his death at Quinte Health Care, on Sunday, February 10, 2008, (in his 63rd year) with his family at his side. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary (nee Hogan) Callahan, of Read. Dear father of Julie (Kieran) Kennelly, Tom (Stacey) Callahan, Sarah (friend Ryan Matthie), and Patrick (friend Candice Derry), all of Read; Andrea (Brian) Sills, of Roslin; and Lara (Dan) Saganowich, of Kingston. Dear brother of Frank (Carlene), of Whitby; Charles (Laura), of South Carolina; Ann Rivers, and Joe (Nancy), all of Belleville. Tom loved and was loved by his grandchildren: Jordan, Daniel, Braedon, Shannon, Jessica, Cameron, Bryson, Emma, Jack, Brittany, Jarred, Aiden, and Grace. He was also loved by several nieces and nephews, and both he and Mary valued the friendship of Steffi Callahan, of Whitby. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in law Jim (Donna), John (Lorraine), Joe (Sandra), and Bob (Anne) Hogan; Katherine Mulroney, and Nora Anne (Bruce) Greatrix, all of Belleville. Tom was predeceased by his parents, the late Thomas Percy and Mary Agnes (nee Meagher) Callahan; by his brothers-in-law, Mike Rivers and Gene Mulroney; and by his sister-in-law, Janice Callahan. “I fought the good fight; I finished the race; I kept the faith”(II Timothy 4:7). Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the STEELE FUNERAL HOME, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville (877 256-3688). Visitation Wednesday, February 13th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Read on Thursday, February 14th at 11:00 A.M. Interment at St. Charles Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. 10986836
