RACINE, Joanne (née Villeneuve) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Ottawa, Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008 at the age of 49 years. Daughter of the late Léo and of the late Marguerite (née Denis) Villeneuve. Beloved wife of Rhéal Racine of Sudbury. Loving mother of Nicole Racine of Sudbury and Angèle Racine (fiancé Andrew Bowering) of Windsor. Sadly missed by her sisters and brother Lisa Amyotte (Carl) of Markham, Guy Villeneuve (Louise) of Sudbury, Diane Fram (David) of Hanmer and Carole Peters (Dean) of Skead. Dear daughter-in-law of René Racine (late Lucille née Brunet) of Sudbury. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Joanne's good character and the kindness of her heart won the affection of her loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. She enjoyed cooking, creating crafts and reading. The family will receive friends at the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Friday evening, January 25th, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will followe at 8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. Donations to the University of Ottawa-Heart Institute or to the Parkinson Society, Sudbury Chapter would be appreciated. 10970868
