LACHANCE, Marcel A. - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, surrounded by his loving family, Sunday January 27th, 2008 at the age of 62 years. Son of the late Adelard and of the late Cécile (née Blais) Lachance. Beloved companion and dear friend of Beverley L. McNamara of Sudbury. Loving brother of René Lachance (Gates), Sylvio Lachance (Claire) and Mariette Brunette (Robert) all of Sudbury. Predeceased by his brother Raymond Lachance (May of Noëlville). Lovingly remembered by his family, relatives and friends. Sadly missed by his canine companion Brandy “Velcro“. Mr. Lachance, a letter carrier with the Government of Canada, retired in 1996, after 28 years of service. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch 564, Lockerby and also a member of the Heritage Club. In his leisure times, he enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing darts. He had a great sense of humour and liked nothing better than to make people laugh. In keeping with Marcel's wishes, there will be no visitation. A Memorial service will be held Saturday February 2nd, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch, 564 Lockerby, 2200 Longlake Rd., Sudbury. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. 10975416
