FLOWERS, Patricia B. (nee Thomson) - The family of Patricia B. Flowers sorrowfully announce her passing on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Sudbury Regional Hospital, Memorial Site. Patricia was born February 11, 1925 in Oshawa, Ontario, the daughter of James and Doris Thomson (predeceased). She moved to Copper Cliff in 1934 and has resided in Sudbury, Ottawa and lately Whitefish at the family farm. Beloved wife of Frank H. Flowers and beloved mother of Lesley (husband Marte Holouka), Margaret (husband Jack Yeo), James, David (wife Izabel), Peter, and Christopher. Patricia is a wonderful Grandmother to Caroline Yeo (husband Jason Blouin), Megan and Christian Yeo, Stephanie, Jeffrey, Andrew and Kitt Flowers. She was predeceased by her brother Howard, brothers-in-law Jack Flowers and Walter Flowers and survived by sisters-in-law Mary Thomson, Eleanor Flowers, Marcia Giguere and Patricia W. Flowers. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Patricia was the quintessential wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enveloped all in the security of unconditional love. Patricia loved her family, skating, skiing, travel, dancing in the kitchen, and best of all family dinners with all at the table. Donations to Parkinson's Society of Canada would be appreciated. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch Street. Funeral Service in St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Copper Cliff Monday, February 4th, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Whitefish Public Cemetery.
