KINGWELL, Orval Gordon - In loving memory of Orval Gordon Kingwell, 70 years, who passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday January 31st, 2008, with his family by his side. Orval will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Marjorie (Kuhl) of Wahnapitae. Loving father of Carolyn Carroll (Reg) and Kathryn Gosselin (Dwight Lynds). Cherished grandfather of Lacey Carroll and Travis Gosselin (father Richard Gosselin). Dear son of the late Gordon and Ethel (nee Elder) Kingwell. Dear brother of Lawrence (Sharon), Kenneth (Linda) and brother in law to Doreen (Ken White), Allan Kuhl (Donna), Pat (Don Burke), Joyce (Doug Keeling), and predeceased by Orval Kuhl (Gail predeceased). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Orval has touched the lives of many people. He retired from the Iron Workers Union local 786 on January 1st, 2000. He served on the executive committee of the Wahnapitae Community Centre and dedicated many years of his life to coaching baseball (Molson Men) and hockey. His “Heaven on Earth“ was his camp on Thor Lake. Funeral service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Monday, February 4th, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
