HALLETT, Orma Ruby - Born November 12, 1930. Died January 20, 2008, peacefully surrounded by family at the Manitoulin Health Centre on Sunday at the age of 77. Predeceased by husband Roy (1985). Loved mother of Douglas & Mary Jane of Sudbury, Darwin (Joe) & Margaret of Spragge, Carey Davis of Sudbury, Dennis of Timmins, Sharon Lanktree of Gore Bay, Gerald & Brenda of Little Current, Patricia Monette of Bruce Mines predeceased by sons Paul & Roger. Special grandma of Christopher, Melissa, Russell, Timothy, Brian, Jody, Lee-Ann, Dennis, Larry, Derek, Alan, Michelle, Shawn & Shannon. Will be missed by many great grandchildren. Remembered by siblings Alice Gilchrist (husband Willie predeceased) Don & wife Donna Kay, Marj & husband Bev McFarland, Russ & Jon Kay, Margaret & Doug Elliott. Orma found her greatest pleasure in her family, she loved to cook, play bingo and buy lottery tickets. She worked as a cook, and spent many years working at the Anchor Inn. Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 pm Wednesday at ISLAND FUNERAL HOME. Funeral Service 3:00pm Thursday January 24, 2008 at Island Funeral Home. Rev. Maxine McVey officiating.
