KELLER, Berdena Lily - December 26, 1914 – January 20, 2008 - In loving memory of Berdena (Bernie) Keller, a resident of Mindemoya, died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at the age of 93 years. She was born in Hope Township, Ont., daughter of the late Victor and Lillian Morton. In her early years, Bernie had worked at Galt Towels in Galt, then she and Fred moved to Brampton where they owned and operated a Dairy Queen for many years. She then worked at Shopper's Drug Mart, a job she truly enjoyed. In 2001, she moved to Mindemoya, where she was close to family. She was a charter member of the Manitoulin Hawberry Red Hats. Bernie liked to knit, keeping her family supplied with dish cloths. Her most important part of her life was her family. She was a loving and much loved mother, grandmother and friend. Many happy memories will be cherished by her family. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Keller on July 14, 2001. Loving mother of Morris and his wife Wilhamine (Willie) Keller of Mindemoya. Proud grandmother of Kirk of Edmonton, Perry and his wife Lois, and Scott and his wife Daphne all of Mindemoya; and great grandchildren Shane, Katherine, Kolby, Dylan, Kristopher (wife Kristy), Terri (friend Zac), Lindsay (friend Tim), Ryan and Kelsie. Dear sister of Dorothy Wood (husband Stan predeceased). Cremation will take place. A Memorial Graveside Service will take place at Mindemoya Cemetery in the Spring, at a date and time to be announced. If so desired, donations to the Mindemoya Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated. CULGIN FUNERAL HOME (705) 282-2270. 10967192
