PRUGGER, Gena - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008 at the age of 54 years. Cherished daughter of Sylvia Pruegger (nee Harvey) of Sudbury and of the late Franz Xaver Pruegger. Beloved wife of Ken Ellis of Garson. Loving mother of Derek McDonald (Leanne) of Garson and Stephanie McDonald (Sean) of Sudbury and step-mother of Sarah Ellis of Garson. Dear sister of Calla Pruegger (Dave) of Brockville, Franz Pruegger Jr. (Mary Anne) of Cambridge and Stacey Pruegger (Jenny) of Toronto. Sadly missed her granddaughter Emily McDonald of Sudbury and her nieces and nephews John (Beth), Rebecca, Jeremy and Trevor. Lovingly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. The family wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Dr. Champagne, Dr. McMullen, Dr. Cano, Dr. Prichard and the entire E.R. staff. Above all, Gena loved her family. She enjoyed plants, travelling and was most proud of her Austrian heritage. In keeping with Gena's wishes, there will be no visitation. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, January 5th, 2008 at 39 O'Neil Drive East, Garson, from 1-5 p.m. Donations to the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) would be appreciated. 10948331
