LEBLANC, Joseph Alcide Maurice - In loving memory of Joseph Alcide Maurice Leblanc, 80 years, who passed away on Thursday, January 10th, 2008 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Son of the late Marie-Louise Dupont and the late Théophile Leblanc of Très Saint- Rédempteur, Québec. Beloved husband of the late Antionette (Gravel) Leblanc of Hanmer. Loving father of Nicole Leblanc- Dugas (husband Rufin) of Hanmer, Rolande Couture (husband Laurent) of Rockland, Henri-Paul (wife Lise) of Hanmer and Riette Leblanc (husband Michel Laflèche) of Verner. Cherished grandfather of the late Sylvain, Amélie, Thierry, Martin, Jasmine, André (Robin), Martine and great- grandfather of Bianca. Dear brother of Sr. Cécile Leblanc of Sherbrooke, Québec, Claire Lavigne of Rigaud, Québec, Hébert Leblanc of Verdun, Québec, and predeceased by Flore, Romuald, Rolland, Rose-Hélène, Lucien, Lucienne, Rhéal & Edouard. He also leaves behind several nephews and nieces and will be missed by many friends. Belonging to St-Jacques Parish in Hanmer, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 5005 and a retired miner from INCO. Maurice enjoyed camping with his family and friends and also enjoyed spending his winters in Florida. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need, especially for his children and grandchildren. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Dr. (at 69N), Hanmer. Funeral Mass in St-Jacques Church in Hanmer on Monday, January 14th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium.
