MARTIN, Aurel Marc - In loving memory of Aurel Marc Martin, 76 years, who passed away Monday, February 11th, 2008 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurention Site. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Duffy) Martin of Sudbury. Loving father of Bryan (spouse Cathy) of Sudbury, Cathy Martin-Hernandez (spouse Jorge) of Toronto, Karen Lask (spouse Martin) of Tottenham, Linda Martin- Cashmore (spouse Brett) of Sudbury, Laurie Martin-Michel (spouse Denis) of Sudbury, Dennis Martin (spouse Christine Pinsent- Johnson) of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Heather Shawn (partner Jessica), Daniel, Justin, Shelby, Sarah, Matthew, Kennedi, Grant, Michael and great grandfather of Tera and Tanner. Dear brother of the late Roland Martin (spouse Therese), Madeleine Briand (spouse Jean-Paul predeceased), Jeanne Roy (spouse Jean-Louis), Julien Martin (spouse Rita), Cécile Potvin (spouse Réal), Paul Martin (spouse Lucie), Guy Martin (spouse Gabie), George Martin (spouse Madeleine) Albert Martin (spouse Cécile), Aline Martin, Claude Martin and Gaëtan Martin. Dear son of Gérard and Marie-Louise (nee LaFrance) Martin both predeceased. Aurel has his own construction company for many years before joining McIsaac Mining and Tunneling as a master mechanic. Formerly of Hanmer, Aurel and Betty moved to Sudbury in 2003. He spent many happy seasons on Lake Mindemoya in M'Cheegeng with family and friends. Aurel was very passionate about his family. He was a doting father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved people and loved life. He'll be greatly missed by all. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME - Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer. Funeral Mass in St. Kevin's Church, 4610 St. Therese St., Val Therese Friday, February 15th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
